Simpsonville is located approximately 20 minutes southeast of Greenville, along I-385 toward Columbia. Simpsonville is also home to the booming Five Forks area, and the Charter Spectrum Ampitheatre which hosts various award-winning artists each year.
Traveler’s Rest, or “TR” as the locals call it, is located approximately 20 minutes north of Greenville. Originally home to the Catawba, Creek, and Cherokee Indian tribes, TR eventually became a popular stopping point for weary travelers as they came down from traversing the Blue Ridge Mountains. TR is one of the most popular suburbs of Greenville, with a revitalized downtown, great restaurants, and incredible mountain views.
Easley is located in Pickens County, approximately 25 minutes west of Downtown Greenville, 30 minutes east of Lake Keowee, and 20 minutes northeast of Clemson University. Easley has maintained its southern charm and small-town feel, with some of the friendliest residents you’ll ever meet. Easley is one of the more rural suburbs of Greenville, with many great neighborhoods that are very affordable.
Once a booming center of the textile industry in the late 1800’s, Spartanburg became known as “Hub City” for the numerous railroad lines that radiated from the town. Within the past decade, local community leaders have spearheaded an effort to revitalize the downtown area, and bring transformational growth back to Spartanburg. The city if home to Wofford College, and many large employers such as Milliken & Company, QS/1 Data Systems, and others. Spartanburg is located approximately 40 minutes northeast of Greenville, along the I-85 corridor toward Charlotte, NC.
